Obituary for Salvatore J. Yerardi

Of LasVegas, Manomet and formerly of Auburndale died suddenly Wednesday November 9th in LasVegas.

Born in Waltham he had been a resident of Auburndale most of his life before moving to LasVegas in 1995.
Sammy had been employed for many years as a truck driver for the Raytheon Company of Bedford and Waltham. He was also a member of the Teamsters local # 25.

He served with the Waltham Police Department for many years as Chief of the Auxiliary Division. He was also a member of the Blue Knights and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #953, Waltham.

He was the son of the late Salvatore & Phyllis (Bruno) Yerardi and the brother of the late Mary Lajoie & Ann Cameron. He was the husband of the late Claire (Carson) Yerardi.

He is survived by his sons, Russell R. Yerardi of Framingham, Richard R. Yerardi of Waltham, James J. Yerardi of LasVegas & Paul M. Yerardi of Costa Mesa, California, his sisters, Josephine Pellegrini of Newton, Katherine Terrenzio of Framingham, Theresa Bruzzesse of Belmont, his brother Richard Yerardi in addition he leaves 5 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Visiting hours on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Sammy's memory to the Joslin Diabetes Center, P.O. Box # 55257, Boston, MA 02205-8626. Parking attendants will be on duty.
