Obituary for Patricio Francisco Alvarez

Patricio (Pato) Francisco Alvarez

Of Watertown passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 66.

Born and raised in Coquimbo, Chile to the late Norman and Ana Maria Araya, Patricio moved to the Boston Area in 1977.

Patricio was a professional server and worked in some of Boston's finest restaurants including Dali, Solea, Toro, and the Lenox Hotel.

In his spare time, Patricio enjoyed visiting Singing Beach in Manchester, MA, he was an avid sports fan and followed Arsenal Soccer Club, the New England Patriots and all the local sports teams. He loved a good Barbeque and music with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Hope Alvarez of Watertown, his sisters Carmen Gloria Alvarez and Maria Luisa Alvarez both of Chile, an uncle Aquillles Alvarez of Santiago, Chile and his mother-in-law Carol Kluge of Hendersonville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life was held privately.
