Of Portland, passed away unexpectedly February 22, 2018. She was 46.
Heidi Lee Harris was a wonderful friend, sister, daughter and mother. She always considered being a mother to be her greatest joy and her greatest accomplishment. She was devoted to her son Joseph Harris Arestigueta, born on February 22, 2014.
Heidi was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 24, 1971 to parents the late Melinda June Harris and Elbridge (Joe) Harris. She was the second of 6 children and grew up in the Maine Communities of Gardiner and Auburn. She graduated Auburn High School in 1989. After high school, she joined the Navy serving 4 years working as dental hygienist. She has called Portland Maine her home since then and worked that community in the service industry.
Anyone who has known Heidi, feels incredibly blessed to have known such a kind, gentle soul and good friend. She always loved angels and now she will forever be our angel.
She is survived by her stepmother Robin Harris of Auburn, ME, her son Joseph Harris Arestigueta, her sisters Waltham City Councilor, Cathyann Harris of Waltham, Brianne Harris of Portland, ME, Kallie Jo Harris of Lewiston, ME.
