Claudette N. (Gilbert) Morin

Of Waltham passed away Saturday afternoon, April 7, 2018 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston with her loved ones by her side. She was 67.

Born and raised in Courcelles, Quebec, Canada to her loving parents Rolande (Belanger) and the late Irene Gilbert, she moved to Waltham 47 years ago and has been a resident ever since.

Besides her mother she is survived by her loving children Jeffrey Morin of Waltham and Jimmy Morin and his wife Elizabeth (Byrne) of Waltham, her sister Ginette Gilbert and brother Michael Gilbert both of Florida, and her cherished grandchildren Katherine and Bradley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Arsene Morin and sister of the late Maurice Gilbert.

Mrs. Morin was self-employed as a housekeeper for many years.

In her spare time, Claudette enjoyed shopping, solving puzzles and spending time in her home. She was an unbelievable cook. Most of all she loved her family especially her sons and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a very welcoming woman who was dedicated to her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham Saturday, at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Claudette's life at Saint Jude Parish, 147 Main St., Waltham at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery.
