Obituary for Marie Mathilde Andrevil (Saint Fort)

Marie Mathilde Andrevil

A much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Marie Mathilde Andrevil, 71 of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away on August 08, 2018. She was born on April, 25, 1947 in Haiti. She moved to Milan, Italy to work for a few years, before landing in Brooklyn, New York for 24 years. She moved to Waltham, Massachusetts in 2006 and spent the remainder of her life.

Mathilde has a strong faith in Christ, and was part of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for most of her life. She has been a member of Mount Sinai Church in Brooklyn, NY and Sichem Temple in Arlington, MA.

She had a big heart. She cared for everyone as her own. She always made people smile and kept positive. A natural comedienne. Always making jokes and reminding people of the greatness of life. She always saw the beauty in people, and would always let you know that you were beautiful and that you were important.

She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Although, her education was limited, she managed to raise successful children and grandchildren. The whole family benefits from her sacrifices and keen business sense.

Mathilde was one of a kind. Loving. Caring. Selfless. Motivator. Mediator. Faithful. Positive. Love Giver.

She is survived by her loving children Wadson Michel of Woburn, Ricardo Sanon of Waltham, Nahomi Carlisle of Billerica, Fabienne Andrevil of Waltham, and Franky Andrevil of Waltham, her brothers and sisters Jean Roger Saint Fort of Malden, Jean Joel Saint Fort of Framingham, Maryse Saint Fort of Waltham, Eric Saint Fort of Everett, Claudette Saint Fort of Miami, FL, Cons Saint Fort of Miami and Marie Bolo Saint Fort of Miami, and 14 cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Josue Saint Fort, Sonia Saint Fort, Clemence Saint Fort, and Claude Saint Fort.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Mathilde's life at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 929 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, Friday, August 17, 2018 at 9 am.
