Obituary for Cecelia Ann Marello (Caviello)

Cecelia Ann  Marello (Caviello)
Of Framingham formerly of Newton passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Metro-West Medical Center Framingham Union Campus at the age 88.

Born and raised in Bailyville, Maine to the late Anthony and Rose (DiPietro) Coviello, she spent most of her life in the Nonantum section of Newton until moving to Framingham 3 years ago.

Cecelia worked as a clerk for the First National Bank of Boston for many years. She was a member of the Red Society at John F. Kennedy Circle, and was active at the Newton Senior Center.

In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, watching game shows, solving word searches, and taking walks. She had an incredible sweet tooth and loved desserts. She also enjoyed the occasional Sombrero drink.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph Marello Sr.

She is survived by her devoted & loving son Ralph Marello Jr. and his wife Toni Sebastian of Framingham, her dear sister Columbia “Coke” Caratelli of Medford, and the late Josephine Fabbri, Agnes DeLuca, Carmella Mussari, Gerald Coviello and Mary Coviello Fabbri. Cherished grandmother of Crystal Marello and Tianna Sebastian, and great grandmother of Lorenzo Marello. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday, September 17, 2018 at 9:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Cecelia’s life at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
