Henry C. Kelley

Of Waltham, passed away, early Tuesday morning, September 25, 2018 at the Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late John B. Kelley, Jr. and Mary V. (Carroll), he was a lifelong resident of Waltham. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Waltham and graduate from Waltham High School.

Mr. Kelley worked as a machinist for Varian Corporation in Lexington for many years.

Aviation always interested Henry. He was an amateur pilot and loved to fly single engine planes when he was able. Mr. Kelley’s faith was very strong, he was a longtime alter server with St. Mary’s and a member of the Legion of Mary.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred A. (Farrell) Kelley, devoted father of the late Michael Kelley, cherished grandfather of the late Jeff and Jonathan Snyder, and brother of the late Mary E. Kelley, George Kelley, and Margaret Kubeck.

Mr. Kelley is survived by his loving children , Mary Kathleen Snyder and her husband Robert of Waltham, Patricia Ann Kelly of Somerville, Thomas Kelley of Acton, his brother John B. Kelley, III of Fitchburg, his sister Julie Dowcett of New Hampshire, and his adoring great grandchildren Jayden and Jacob. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Friday, September 28, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Henry’s life at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St. Waltham at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Parking attendants will be on duty.
