Daniel (“Danny”) Leger, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 26, 2018, at his home in Raymond, NH. He was born August 8, 1967, in Waltham, MA, to Reginald and Huberte Leger. He was a 1985 graduate of Waltham High School.

Danny was employed in various positions in the airline industry over a span of 30 years, including Eastern Airlines, 18 years with Delta Airlines, and JetBlue for the last 9 years. This career aligned so nicely with his passion for traveling. He enjoyed countless vacations around the United States and Europe, including many trips to his preferred destinations of Hawaii, Florida and California. In addition to this leisurely travel he, of course, traveled frequently for work, especially as a member of the in-flight crew of JetBlue. He was very loyal to his employers, earning several accolades for his service and attendance throughout his career.

With a lifelong love of rock and roll music, Danny enjoyed many live concerts over the years, especially following Rush whenever the opportunity arose. Capable of finding a song to fit any situation, he would often send family and friends a suitable music video to show that he was thinking of them during a tough time, or to mark any occasion. It was his personal spin on showing empathy. He was always thinking of others, expressing his love and concern, and caring deeply. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, friend, coworker and person, and leaves behind a void in the many hearts that he touched over his lifetime.

Danny is survived by his loving parents Reginald and Huberte (Leblanc) Leger, of Raymond, NH; his dear sister Cindy Leger and her husband Mike, and niece Kaylee, all of Billerica, MA. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins in both the United States as well as New Brunswick, Canada. Danny was predeceased by grandparents Adelard and Seraphine Leblanc, and Amedee and Juliette Leger.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Daniel’s life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 – 8 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
