Obituary for Kevin Edward Pendleton

Kevin E. Pendleton

Of Marlborough, born and raised in Waltham, MA, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA at the age of 56.

Born on September 30, 1965 in Waltham, son of the late Edward Pendleton and Theresa (Gargone) Pendleton.

A graduate of Waltham Vocational High School with the class of 1983; he had been a lifelong dedicated laborer with Laborers International Union of North America, Local 560, and worked for Pro Cut Concrete in Waltham. Kevin took pride in going to work every day.

Kevin was a master chef and always knew how to whip up something good to eat. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed riding his Harley. He loved watching football, going to the gym, Honey Dew coffee, riding snowmobiles, and spending time with his daughter.

Kevin was a generous man – kind – and would do anything for his family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by many.

Kevin is survived by his loving daughter Kayla E. Pendleton and son Steven C. Grubbs Jr.; His cherished grandchildren Steven C. Grubbs III and Faith Briere; His siblings Karen (Collins) O’Halloran and her husband Brian O’Halloran of Marlborough, Kathy (Collins) Bourinot of Waltham, Kenneth Collins and his wife Paula Collins of Texas. In addition, he is survived by his nieces and nephews Richard O’Halloran, Brendan O’Halloran, Christy Bourinot, Jason Bourinot, Adam Torrents, J Ryan Collins, and Evan Bourinot, and his former wife Sheri (Johnson) Pendleton.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Kevin's Life to remember the love he shared with those she touched at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Monday evening September 27th at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Parking Attendants will be on duty.
