Obituary for Norma Jean Wint (English)
Norma Jean Wint (English) 77, of Waltham passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday May 24th.
Norma, born in Jamaica, W.I., lived in Waltham for 45 years, She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 35 years as a Mental Health Worker. She also worked for many years as a Hair Colorist and Stylist at Daryl Christopher Salon and Spa.
Predeceased by her beloved son Allan A. Wint ( Junior) and her brother the late Byron English.
Norma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Allan, her children; Kareem, Christine, Dean, Renoir, and Bryan; her brothers and sisters; Richard, Rupert, Egbert, Aldern, Dudley, and Gwendolyn. In addition to many in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to gather and remember the love Norma shared during her visitation on Saturday June 4th from 9 am to 11 am at her Church home of First Baptist Church in Waltham , located 400 Lexington Street Waltham, MA. Followed by a Homegoing Service in Celebration and Thanksgiving for her life beginning at 11 am. Immediately after services, she will be laid to rest in Mt. Feake Cemetery. Parking attendants will be on duty.
