Loretta, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It is difficult to lose a parent, no matter how old they are. Sounds like she had a good life. May you be comforted by your memories. Anne Umphrey, fellow rower

I worked with Frank at Raytheon Waltham until his retirement. I visited hid home and met your mother there and again in Marbelhead when they moved there. My prayers for her and her family

To Liz, Loretta, Joe and Frank, I send my condolences at this sad time, but your Mother lived a good life. I grew up two doors away on Oakledge Road, and I recall how your family lit up the fir tree in your front yard every Christmas. Anna arranged for lessons in the arts for you as children, performing and visual endeavors. Liz, I remember when we were about 10, and your Mother let you get a pixie haircut -- no more beautiful long, dark hair! I was standing in your yard when your Father came home from work, and he tersely commented, "What happened to your hair?" We are far-flung now, although I live in Waltham again. I have fond memories of your lovely Mother, Anna.

Dear Loretta, Frank, Joe and Liz, Whenever any of us think of Auntie Anna, we will immediately smile because we can hear her great laugh and remember her beautiful smile. I know she lived a great life having such a wonderful family around her. I'm sure that gives you great peace, but it is still so sad to loose our parents. For that, I wish you my deepest sympathy. I wish you the peace that comes from the comfort of your best memories. Lots of Love. LuAnne, Megan and Matt
