Obituary for Irma Sanon Toussaint

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Monday evening February 11th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln at the age of 50.

Born on June 26, 1968 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; beloved daughter of Bertha Sanon. Irma immigrated to the United States in 2009 and has been a resident of Waltham ever since.

Irma worked in the Housekeeping Division at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge and for JetBlue Airlines in Logan International Airport. Most recently she was employed as a Home Health Aide and worked at Stop & Shop Grocery Store in Waltham.

Family was the most important aspect of her life. She was always looking out for others and helping anyone that needed her for anything. She had a kind and generous spirit. In her spare time she loved to dance.

Irma is survived by her devoted & loving children Wideline Brutus, Wyclef Lande, Wider Lande and Whitney Toussaint, her dear siblings Guerline Simon, Nerlande Simon, Darlande Simon, and step-siblings Evens Simon, Jhana Simon, Jhony Simon and James Simon. In addition she sis urvived by many nieces, nephews and numerous close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Irma's Life at the Waltham Church of God, 633 Moody Street on Saturday morning Feb. 23rd at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Friday evening Feb. 22nd from 7 - 9 p.m.
