Angelina M. “Angie” Mullaney
Of Waltham, died Saturday October 5, 2019 at the age of 89.
Born in Dorchester, MA; she has been a Waltham resident for 66 years.
Angie was a retired Registered Nurse having graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years at Waltham Hospital, Santa Maria Hospital in Cambridge and retiring from Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham.
She was an active and life member of the John M. Sullivan Post 10334 VFW Ladies Auxiliary having served as Past President, AARP Local Chapter #3809 Past President and a member of the North Waltham seniors and the Council of Aging Past Chairman..
She was the wife of the late John “Eddie”Lafort, daughter of the late Dominic & Pauline (Mortelliti) Pizziferri, and the sister of the late Michael Pizziferri.
Devoted mother of Charles F. Mullaney and his wife Mary (Wright) of Kennesaw, Georgia, Carol Patten of Waltham, Ma, and James Mullaney of Lowell, Ma. Sister of Frank Pizziferri, Mary Clougherty, Joseph Pizziferri and James Pizziferri. In addition she is survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 4pm to 8 pm
Funeral Services for Angie will be held Thursday October 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM, with Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church 857 Trapelo Road Waltham, MA at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Feake Cemetery.
