Obituary for Jane M. Walsh (Walsh)
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon October 17th, 2019 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington at the age of 62.
Born on March 15, 1957 in Brighton; daughter of the late Richard Walsh and Marilyn (Veno) Walsh, Jane was a lifelong resident of Waltham.
Jane graduated from Waltham High School with the Class of 1975 and later in life continued her education at the Computer Processing Institute. She had been employed with the former Waltham Hospital as a Medical Secretary for years and prior with the Waltham Daily News Tribune.
Jane loved every moment of time spent with family and friends at York Beach in Maine. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from being with her grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her beloved husband Stephen P. Walsh; her devoted & loving children; Jennifer Walsh and her companion Richard Thambash of Waltham; Crystal Philpott and her husband Matt of Waltham; and Richard Walsh of Waltham; her cherished grandchildren Nicholas Thambash; Brendan and Ashleigh Philpott; and Scarlett Walsh; her dear siblings David Walsh and his wife Diane of Waltham; Kathryn Mullins-Cincotta of Cape Neddick, Maine; John Walsh and his wife Jean of Methuen; and Michael Walsh of Waltham. In addition she is survived by many nieces, nephews and caring friends.
She was predeceased by her dear brother-in-law Michael Cincotta and sister-in-law Karen Walsh.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Jane's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday morning Oct. 23rd at 11:00. Burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Tuesday Oct. 22nd from 4 - 7 p.m.
