Obituary for Paul Thomas Franey
Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday December 17th, 2019 in his residence at the age of 63.
Born on June 3, 1956 in Boston; beloved son of the late William Franey and Catherine (Hughes) Franey, Paul was raised in Lynn and resided in the Manomet section of Plymouth before becoming a resident of Waltham for the past 30 years.
Paul attended Lynn public schools and graduated Lynn English High School with the Class of 1975. He had been employed as a Retail Clerk with CVS Pharmacy in Waltham on Linden Street for many years; and had worked part-time as a pet groomer. He had a passion for all animals and had been a strong advocate for animals.
Paul is survived by his daughters Keira Franey of Plymouth and Kristen Franey of Marshfield; his grandchildren Maya, Auryana and Marcus; his siblings Patricia Butler and her husband Ernie of New Hampshire; William Franey and his wife June of Billerica; his twin brother Michael Franey and his wife Marie of Boxborough; Nancy Savage and her husband Anthony of Malden; and Kevin Franey and his wife Wendy of Peabody. In addition he is survived by many nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services in celebration of Paul’s Life will be held PRIVATE for his family at a later date.
