Victor Sergi
Of Billerica, formerly of Watertown, passed away Wednesday morning December 25, 2019 in his home after a period of declining health at the age of 82.
Born on September 3, 1937 in Boston; son of the late Joseph and Josephina (Allesandro) Sergi. Victor lived for a period of time in Watertown before moving to Billerica in 1969.
Victor attended Saint Luke's Elementary School and Watertown High School; he had been employed as a Contractor throughout his life. He co-owned and operated H & S Construction in Billerica.
In his spare time he enjoyed tending to his garden, working with his hands to fix anything he could around the house, but most of all he had a passion for fishing. Victor also took great pride in celebrating the 4th of July with an annual party at his home.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Rooney) Sergi; his devoted & loving children Steven Sergi of Arizona; Vickilynn Sergi-Devlin and her husband Thomas Devlin of Waltham; David Sergi and his Fiancée Darlene of Billerica; his cherished grandchildren Gerard, Felicia, David, Riley, Thomas and Jamie; his adored great grandchildren Lydia, Adah and Joanna; and his dear brother Peter Sergi of Belmont. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was predeceased by his brothers Salvatore Sergi, Frank Sergi, Angelo Sergi, John Sergi, Anthony Sergi, Guy Sergi and Joseph Sergi.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Victor's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM, on Monday December 30th at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be held in the Chapel prior to the service from 9:00 - 11:30 am. Burial will follow services at the Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
Those who choose may make donations in Victor's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
