Obituary for Bernard Joseph Lopes

Bernard Joseph Lopes 47,

Of Woburn died suddenly Sunday January 19th 2020 at his home.

Born in Newton, Massachusetts he was raised in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School.

Bernard had been a Chef with Elmbrook fulfilling his life passion which he truly found rewarding. When not spending time in the kitchen, creating culinary delites, he truly enjoyed tinkering and repairing Automobile engines.

Bernard enjoyed his music of Bob Segar and Led Zeplin. His friends describe him as a true Survivor who was a lovable silly and an awesome Chef with imagination.

He was the son of the late Joseph & Olga ( LiDonni ) Lopes and the brother the late Alberto Lopes.

Bernard is survived by his sister Anna Castillo and her partner Julio Hernandez, a niece Olga Castillo, nephews Miguel Castillo, Brian Lopes & Jason Lopes and many cousins.

Funeral Services for Bernard were held Tuesday morning February 6th in the 'Mary Catherine Chapel" of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham. Interment followed in the family lot at Newton Cemetery.
