Elvira Roman 54,
Of Boston died Thursday January 30th 2020 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a long illness.
Born in New York she has lived in the Boston area most of her life in the Roslindale - Hyde Park area.
Elvira loved her independence and lived to make friends, she just made friends anywhere and everywhere she went. Elvira lived life with a determination to overcome set backs that she experienced in her lifetime, especially after suffering an accident many years ago that restricted her activities but not her spirit.
Elvira always enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Blake Estates in Hyde Park and her friends an "Family" at Baycove and D.D.S.
She was the daughter of the late Luiz Antonio Roman & Ramona Gonzalez Roman.
She is survived by her long time companion "Papo" and all of her caregivers over the years.
Services in Celebration of Elvira's life will be held Wednesday February 12th in the "Mary Catherine Chapel" of the Brasco & Sons Memorial,773 Moody Street, Waltham Wednesday at 12 Noon. Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Parking attendants wil be on duty.
