Barbara E. (Mazzarini) DeAmicis
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Friday May 8th, 2020 just shy of her 88th birthday at the Life Care Center of Leominster.
Devoted wife of the late Robert A. DeAmicis Sr. and loving mother of the late Robert A. DeAmicis Jr.
Barbara will be greatly missed by her devoted & loving sons Richard M. DeAmicis and his wife Gael of Townsend and Alan P. DeAmicis and his wife Denise of Marlborough. Beloved grandmother of Erica and her husband Mark Deputy, Carrie Christensen, Robert A. DeAmicis III, Andrew DeAmicis and his wife Sara, Matthew P. DeAmicis, Evan M. DeAmicis, Alex P. DeAmicis, Jessica and her husband David Erickson and Keith R. DeAmicis and his wife Lucy. Barbara is also survived by ten great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Barbara was born and raised in Waltham and graduated from St Mary’s High School. After graduation she married and raised her family in Waltham. She worked for many years at BASF in Bedford MA.
Barbara loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She enjoyed yearly vacations at Hampton Beach NH with family and friends. In retirement Barbara looked forward to Friday night Bingo and monthly bus trips to Foxwoods.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time we will honor and remember her life privately with a graveside committal. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
