Lucy (Maffei) Lisacki

Of Belmont, passed away on Tuesday June 28th, 2022 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, two weeks after her 106 birthday.

Born on June 14, 1916 in Belmont; daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Canceleri) Maffei.

Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband the late Salvatore Lisacki in 1997, and by her dear brother Ralph.

Lucy is survived by her devoted and loving family; her son Richard and his wife Felisa of Maryland; daughter Lucille Lisacki Boyajian and her husband Ronald of Belmont; and her son Michael of Belmont. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Robert Lisacki and his wife Loreen of Rome NY, Donna Tuccindardi and her husband Leo of Watertown, Richard Lisacki and his fiancé Michelle of Line Lexington Pennsylvania, and Lisa Boyajian of Belmont. She also leaves behind her adoring great grandchildren Jacob, Dante, Matthew, and Nicholas.

She was a life long resident of Belmont. Lucy worked for many years as a secretary in the operating room of Mount Auburn Hospital.

She spent her spare time supporting veterans including being an active member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Lucy was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. She spent Sundays during the fall making pasta and listening to Patriots game on the radio with her family.

She had a strong faith in her religion often praying to Saint Jude and the Blessed Mother in times of need for herself, her family, and the world at large. She survived two pandemics. She practiced Thai Chi until the age of 95.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Lucy's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Graveside Funeral Service on Saturday morning July 2nd at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Belmont & Lexington Streets, WATERTOWN at 11:00 a.m.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Lucy and her family can do so in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Friday July 1st from 4pm until 7pm.
