October 26 1957 , BOB our wedding day 62 years today !!! I remember what a wonderful day it was my family was so proud that I got a great. Guy wonderful kind and family was important to both of U.S.S. , How luckie we both were to have our entire family there St Mary's church was beautifully decorated with fall flowers the Emory was a family member fr, tool I could not be happier that day "Perfect " the reaction decorated with beautiful fall colors , even some Halloween items on the wall every body had a wonderful time , honeymoon at Niagara Falls could not be any more enjoyable ,so today I reflect on many wonderful memories our 4 beautiful daughters granddaughters and great grand children how luckie we both were to have so many wonderful people in our lives . 7 years have passed and I miss you every day there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you so many people still remember you and talk about my wonderful husband how luckie I am to have had you in my life. Bob always treated me right. One time I was trying to buy a car and it was Sunday and the banks were closed. I wanted to put a down payment on the used vehicle and I was going to get the balance to the owner on Monday when I could get to the bank. I told Bob what was going on and he just asked me how much I would need. I told him and he dug into some kind of crevice in that old wallet of his and handed me some money. "Pay me when you can." is all he said. That is the type of guy Bob was. Besides my Dad, Bob Yorston was the driving force that pushed me to study and take promotional exams for the Fire Department. I will never forget him. Mike G.

I have so many great memories of Uncle Bob it would be hard to narrow it down, so I will just list a few. Maybe it will spark memories for you. I remember family times up at the camp. I remember him saying he was going to take us fishing. And it was thunder and lightning out. I was terrified. I think he was only teasing because we never actually did. haha. I remember he used to always go to Limerick to hunt for deer and never found any. But what was really special to me was when my Mom was sick Uncle Bob and Uncle Richie would come up to visit and take us out to lunch. It wasn't easy. But it was comical. And Mom and I enjoyed it very much. And... He would always ask the waitress if they had any dancing girls :) very funny.

Love you Uncle Bob! And I am sending love to Aunt Marie, Karen, Judy, MaryEllen, and Tricia and their families. <3

Growing up across the street from the yorston's gave me great memories! My dad worked at the moody street station with "Mr. Yorston" for many years! We were always playing in the sand buckets at there house or dress up in the basement! Later on I continued to call him "Mr. Yorston" .. He always smiled and told me I was a great kid! Love and prayers to your entire family! Growing up a firemans daughter you always knew you had family at the station! But in these sad times and your shoulders feel heavy ...
