Kenneth F.  McNiece
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday August 11th, 2016 in Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 87.

Born on December 1, 1928 in Medford; son of the late Francis and Katherine (Kelley) McNiece, Ken was raised in Somervile and lived for a short period of time in Cambridge before moving to Waltham 51 years ago.

Ken proudly served with the United States Army at the end of World War II. He was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2152 on Felton Street in Waltham.

He was employed as a Truck Driver throughout his life with Warner Trucking Company, Hebert Trucking and McCabe Trucking until his retirement.

Ken had a passion for following all the Boston's sports teams and watching them play on tv. He loved to watch the television especially British mystery's

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Alice L. (Quinn) McNiece and his devoted & loving children Kenneth McNiece Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Waltham, Paula McNiece and her fiance' Gregory Gullotti of Waltham and David McNiece and his loving comapnion Susan Richard of Waltham.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Kenneth's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday evening Aug. 16th at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude with United States Army Military Honors. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Funeral Service on Tuesday evening from 5 - 7 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
