Of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, September 4, 2016 due to heart related complications, his loving wife and family were by his side.
A resident of Lauderdale Lakes Florida since 1990 and former resident of Waltham, Massachusetts for over 60 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his family and wife Helen of 65 years.
John was a devoted Father of 4, Grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 5
John proudly served his country in World War II as a member of the United States Navy.
He was also dedicated to his immense faith in God and the Catholic Church.
He loved the Boston Red Sox, Italian food and time spent with family and friends and enjoyed ending the day in the comfort of his favorite robe.
John will be missed and forever remembered in the words of his favorite toast : CENTO ANNO!
Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Gathering & Service in celebration of John's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 73 Mood Street, WALTHAM on Saturday Oct, 22 2016 at 2:00 pm. Services will conclude with United States Navy Military Honors in recognition of his faithful & honorable service to our country. Interment will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne.
