Of West Newton, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side early Saturday morning December 3rd, 2016 in Newton Wellesley – Hospital at the age of 81.
Born on January 15, 1935 in Calabria, Italy; daughter of the late Antonio and Francesca (Folino) Mastroianni, Teresa immigrated to the United States in 1966 and resided in Newton.
Teresa was employed with the Marriott Hotel in Newton for over 35 years.
Family truly was the central focus of her life. She loved to cook and entertain for everyone. She enjoyed listening to Italian Music.
Teresa is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Bernardo Perri, her devoted & loving children Francesca Bilotta and her husband Giuseppe of Newton, Antonette Perri and her husband Francesco of Newton, Vincenzo Perri and his wife Colleen of Scituate, Francesco Perri of Newton and Maria Vitone and her husband Domenic of Newton, her cherished grandchildren Nicky, John, Vinnie, Grace, Brianna, Mikayla, Kristina, Jay, Molly, Michaela, Mia, Christopher, Stephanie, and Anthony, adored great grandchildren Deanna, Guilia, Milia, Vincenzo and Antonio John, and dear sisters Rose Fiore and her husband Michael of MD, and Angelina Caruso and her husband Raffaele of Italy. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Teresa’s Life from the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St, WALTHAM on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Bernard’s Church, 1523 Washington St, West Newton at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants on duty.
