Mrs. H had a big heart

Louise was one of my mother's closest friends. I have fond memories of her coming over for tea and telling lots of stories. She was a wonderful storyteller. I still remember her laugh. When I started playing piano, we had an organ but no piano, and Louise used to let me come over and practice on her piano. She was also very kind to my brother, even though he appreciated her gardens a bit too much. One day when he was really young, he picked some flowers from her garden to give to my mother. When my mother asked him where he got them from, she was appalled to hear that they came from Louise's garden. When my brother apologized to Louise, Louise just laughed and said how sweet it was.
