Of Douglas, MA formerly of Waltham passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a lengthy illness. He was 51.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late Paolo and Maria (Russo) Mastropieri, he moved to Douglas almost twenty years ago. Paul was a graduate of Waltham High School.
In his spare time Paul was an avid reader, enjoyed going for drives, and like to take trips to Foxwoods. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a warm and quiet soul.
He is survived by his loving sister Michela Tramontozzi and her husband Michael of West Newton, his brother Leonard Mastropieri of Waltham, his nieces and nephews Michael Tramontozzi and his wife Kim of Amesbury, Christina Tramontozzi and her fiancé Mark Tritto of Winthrop, Anthony Tramontozzi of West Newton, and Joseph Mastropieri of Waltham, and his cherished great nephew Luca. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was the brother-in-law of the late Angela Mastropieri.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday from 4 - 7:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Memorial Service in celebration of Paul's life at 7:30 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
